Tevski: We listened a lot to Dr. Dre and De La Soul at the time we recorded this album, but when Mikeadelica from the group 123-vligt came by, he claimed we sounded like Maxi Priest, if anyone remembers him. Years later we came to accept our roll as the twee band of swedish hip hop, but back then we didn't find it that funny.
Fredda: We didn't have that much money, so the plan was to record and mix the album in three days. As if that wasn't enough the record label pointed out that it was cheaper to make the cd's in single format, not full length, which meant we had to keep within the 21 minute limit. But we still wanted to make a full length album, so we made the songs punkishly short instead. Which was something we realized we liked and came to use later on, when there no longer was any need for it.
Tevski: We asked our friend Kisse to take the pictures for the cover, which he also agreed to do. But could we be quick about it? He was late for an exam and really had no time at all. We made some fast shots before he jumped on his bike and left, but then we accidently opened the camera, exposing the film. We decided to develope the film anyway and when the pictures arrived we found out that the unintentional exposure had made some of the photos prettier. We could use them as they were, no photoshopping needed.
