Monika: When Ssschuitt offered me this wonderful opportunity I choosed from some of my favourites amongst the songs I had written for the band me and Tevski and some other guys had. And I wrote a whole new one (Alone).
This was my chance to do exactly what I wanted with them and it was not my desire to do some deeploading, perfect songs. No, I wanted to throw as many melodies as possible in there, as long as they sounded good together and I wanted to achieve that rock n' roll, garage feeling.
Lyrically, I've often built upon something I've felt or experienced and then blown things up for more drama. And on this record I chose "complaining songs" with a comical touch. I'm not a professional musician or writer, but I enjoy putting all the parts, that makes the song, together. And the way they all sound in the mix.
Music can be a lot of things, but I think the most important thing is that it makes you feel something special when you hear it. If I can make someone listening to my music feel something, that's so much better than if it just runs right trough you, without any reaction of any kind.
